HAWAS AGRI BUSINESS PLC is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and fore-ward thinking Guesthouse manager that will leverage his expertise for the achievement of the company’s set goals.
HAWAS AGRI BUSINESS PLC is an Ethiopia based business company established in 1993 and is well recognized for exporting homegrown Agri-products, importing crop preventives and food ingredients, provide hospitality service (Guesthouse service) and Business center rental at main business hot spot of Adama City.
The Guesthouse Manager is responsible for coordinating and follow-up the day-to-day management of the guesthouse service delivery, customer handling, overseeing facilities maintenance, manage Marketing and promotions activities to ensure the financial targets are met
He serves as a point of contact and representatives of the company in the hospitality industry.
Manage day-to-day operations of the Guesthouse services in ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Communicate with customers for feedback and report on ongoing business to line managers
Manage employee schedules, to include successful completion of designated tasks
Order supplies and materials needed for competitive service provisions.
Guide, train and manage lower-level employees and service providers
Uphold guesthouse hospitality to standards of excellence and guaranteeing quality service
Requirements, Desirable Skills, & ethical considerations
Proven work experience as a guesthouse manager in a similar role with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work outputs,including reporting & communications
Knowledge of human resource management , planning & budgeting
Strong ethics, with ability to manage confidential data
BA degree or above in Hotel management, Marketing management or Business Administration.
Minimum of 4 years experience in hotel management /Customer service in the hospitality industry.
Mandatory skill, fluency in written and spoken Afan Oromo, English, and Amharic.
Desirable skills, Digital marketing experience , computer knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel & Power point.
