Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team. The HR Officer will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process (job postings, screening, interviews, induction).
Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data.
Handle employee relations issues professionally and confidentially.
Monitor attendance, leave, and performance management processes.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Coordinate training, workshops, and capacity-building programs.
Provide HR reports and recommendations to management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
At least 1 year of proven experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
Knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with integrity.
