Job Description
International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is one of the largest independent clinical diagnostic centers on the African continent. ICL opened its door for service in 2004 with the aim of “contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of life throughout Ethiopia” by encompassing a system of human and physical resources designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of the population it serves.
It is the only laboratory accredited by the USA-based Joint Commission International (JCI) five times in a row. The laboratory provides more than 3000 tests in collaboration with its referral laboratories.
ICL would like to fill the following vacant positions under the Logistics Department by inviting all qualified and competent applicants:
Job Title: Fleet Coordinator
Required No: 1 (one)

Report to: Logistics Manager
Location : AA1 (Addis Ababa)
Department: Admin and Facility Department
Salary : As per the company scale
The Transport department serves as the primary foundation for the customer-oriented service provided by the company. Through vigilant monitoring of vehicle safety and efficient fleet coordination of employee deployment, the department consistently strives to ensure the readiness of the transport service. This commitment plays a pivotal role in contributing to the overall success of the company's service offerings.
Ensures transport department employees adhere to schedules and are punctual.
Prepares, adjusts, and ensures the smooth execution of fleet schedules while educating staff.
Responds promptly to transportation requests from various departments.
Submits daily transport service reports and compares fuel usage with services rendered.
Monitors vehicle safety, ensures timely maintenance, and reports status updates.
Reports accidents, provides evidence when necessary, and follows up on insurance claims.
Develops and oversees policies, procedures, and daily logistics, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
Monitors transportation costs, identifies savings, and negotiates contracts with vendors.
Collaborates with departments to ensure transportation needs are met, including sample transport and supply distribution.
Develops and maintains transportation performance metrics and reports for improvement.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of transportation-related documentation, including air way bills and delivery receipts.
Hires, trains, and manages transportation staff while overseeing performance.
Acts as a liaison with government and non-government entities to streamline operations and resolve issues.
Manages visa and entry permit processes for international guests.
Handles renewals of company noticeboards and other permits.
Supervises maintenance, cleanliness, and operation of organizational facilities and equipment.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations for transportation

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree /Diploma in vehicle maintenance and/ or related field
