Job Description
Established in 1994, Denberwa is the first privately founded MCH center in Ethiopia, proudly serving Addis Ababa for 31 years. Located on 22 square, behind the Addis Ababa Traffic Police Bureau, we are a trusted provider of comprehensive maternal and child health services
The midwifery Nurse will be responsible for providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns, promoting safe delivery practices, and ensuring optimal maternal and neonatal health outcomes.
Conduct antenatal assessments and counseling
Monitor labor and assist in safe deliveries
Provide postnatal care and support to mothers and newborns
Identify and manage obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the medical team
Educate clients on family planning, breast feeding and newborn care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in community health education programs
Required qualifications:
Diploma or BSC in Midwifery from a recognized health institution
Valid professional license/renewal from the relevant health authority (EFDA)
Required skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar setting (MCH Center, hospital, or health clinic)
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in maternal and neonatal care
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered care approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Required qualifications:
