Reports To: General Manager 

DMC Construction PLC seeks an experienced Audit Manager to lead our internal audit function. This senior role is responsible for strategically overseeing audit engagements, managing audit teams, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and operational processes in full compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical accounting expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive audit plans, defining scope, objectives, and testing methodologies.

• Lead the day-to-day management of audit engagements from inception to completion.

• Oversee fieldwork, manage budgets, and ensure audit timelines are met. 

Team leadership and management 

• Manage, coach, and mentor junior audit staff and senior auditors.

• Provide regular performance feedback and training to foster professional growth.

• Organize and allocate team resources effectively based on skill sets and project timelines. 

Reporting and communication 

• Develop clear, concise, and accurate audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.

• Present audit results to senior management, and clients, articulating complex issues clearly.

• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels. 

• Identify and assess key business process risks and internal control gaps.

• Ensure audit activities comply with relevant regulations, accounting Recommend actionable improvements to internal controls and business processes. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is highly desirable.

• 5+ years of auditing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role, In construction company is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, and risk management practices.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.

• Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
