Job summary:-  A Logistics and Data Encoding Officer accurately inputs, verifies, and maintains logistical data, such as shipment details, inventory, and sales, into databases to ensure accurate records and efficient supply chain operations. Key responsibilities include data entry, reconciliation of discrepancies, report generation, data quality assurance, and supporting inventory management by tracking stock levels. This role requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency protocols. , typing accuracy, and the ability to manage data effectively within established 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Data Management:

• Verify the accuracy of data related to livestock, production, sales, and shipments.

• Generate reports on logistics, inventory, and operational data for management.

• Accurately record all logistics-related transactions, such as shipment details, warehouse postings, and inventory movements, into the company's database. 

Data Quality & Integrity:

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all entered data through regular data audits and quality checks, maintaining high levels of data integrity. 

Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with suppliers for the timely delivery of feed and other necessary supplies.

• Manage the dispatch and tracking of processed poultry products to various destinations.

• Ensure proper validation of physical inventory against data records.

• Organize and label shipments and parcels for outgoing distribution.

Reconciliation:

• Perform reconciliations of sales, inventory, and other logistical data by comparing records from various sources and initiating corrective actions. 

Inventory Tracking:

• Monitor inventory levels, compare records across different systems, and identify discrepancies to maintain an accurate stock count. 

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline data entry and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. 

Record Keeping & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records of all logistical activities and data entries.

• Assist in performing data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with farm managers to understand data requirements and support strategic decision-making.

• Generate and analyze reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key logistics metrics, providing insights for management strategies. 

 Handling others responsibilities given by Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

Job Requirements

Qualification and skills;

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and supply chain Management / related field.

• A minimum of 1 years of experience and good Literacy in computer.

• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.

• Good organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience in data entry and logistics is beneficial.

• Ability to work effectively with data management systems.

• Understanding of poultry farm operations, particularly in relation to inventory and supply chain, is a plus.
