We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our growing team. This role is essential in shaping our brand image and connecting with our audience through impactful visual storytelling. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing, producing, and delivering professional video content that communicates Ashewa’s message across multiple platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Production

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging, and brand-aligned content.

• Integrate motion graphics, text overlays, music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.

• Ensure high-quality color grading, sound balancing, and finishing.

• Edit content for various platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites.

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to understand project objectives.

• Translate creative briefs into compelling video outputs.

• Propose new creative ideas and formats to increase audience engagement.

Content Management & Workflow

• Organize, archive, and manage video assets systematically for easy access.

• Maintain efficient project management and workflow to meet deadlines.

• Ensure all videos follow Ashewa’s brand identity, tone, and quality standards.

Innovation & Market Awareness

• Stay up to date with video editing trends, techniques, and software.

• Research and apply best practices in digital storytelling and social media content creation.

• Explore opportunities for animations, 2D/3D graphics, and short-form content that resonates with different audiences.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a creative agency, tech company, or media house.

• Proficiency in professional video editing software 

• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, and export settings.

• Familiarity with sound editing and mixing tools is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of cinematography and camera handling (advantageous).
