Job Description

Best Western Premier Hotel is a 5-Star upscale Hotel, part of Best Western Group, an International Hotel Chain, located In front   INSA Wollo Sefer area, about 3 km away from Bole International Airport. The hotel is looking for qualified candidates for the following positions.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans aligned with the hotel’s goals.

  •  Identify new business opportunities in corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), leisure, and travel trade segments. 

  • Drive direct sales efforts to achieve room, banquet, F&B, and ancillary revenue targets.

  •  Lead, train, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve targets.

  •  Set individual KPIs and review performance regularly. 

  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, government entities, and event organizers. 

  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and sales calls

  • Oversee the hotel’s marketing campaigns, advertising, digital marketing, and PR activities. 

  • Manage the hotel’s online presence, including website, social media, and online travel agencies (OTAs). 

  • Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials and guest communications. 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and guest feedback. 

  • Adjust sales strategies to stay competitive in pricing, promotions, and service offerings. 6. Budgeting & Reporting  Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget. 

  • Track ROI for all campaigns and promotional activities. 

  • Provide regular reports to the General Manager on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.

Job Requirements

Qualification

  •  A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is often required. Many companies prefer or require an MBA or a master's degree.

  • Most directors have extensive experience (10–15 years) in sales and marketing, including a significant period (5+ years) in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen

  •  Excellent networking and relationship-building skills 

  • Creativity in marketing campaigns 

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines 

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
