Under the supervision of the Plant manager, Environmental and safety Senior Officer ensures that the safety of the workers and surrounding community is kept well. Makes sure that the premises of the factory are dust free and the surrounding areas are neat and well beautified by gardening and planned internal roads. Work closely with the human resources and other departments to ensure proper safety of the workers are maintained and provided uniforms and other safety materials are being used properly. 

 Specific Duties and Responsibilities 

• ensures that the safety and health of the workers and surrounding community is kept well; 

• Makes sure that the premises of the factory are dust free and the surrounding areas are neat and well beautified by gardening and maintaining planned internal roads; 

• Ensures that provided uniforms and other safety materials are being used properly; 

• Collaborating with concerned departments, control dust linkages and other waste materials of the factory; 

• Minimize possible risk factors by identifying risky areas and taking proper preventive plans; 

• Performs other activities as and when assigned by immediate supervisor  

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirement 

• Bsc in Environmental Management or related fields of study from recognized university with 6 years relevant work experience
