Site Engineer

3.  Reporting to: Project Manager

 POSITION SUMMARY 

The Site Engineer is responsible for the coordination of the construction works in the construction project sites. Follow up the overall construction works, meet deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project. Prepare construction progress reports for upper management.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and budget

• Ensure resource availability and allocation.

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

• Manage the relationship with the client and all project stakeholders

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

• Foster and maintain strong working relationships with support staff (estimating, procurement, project controls, scheduling, project admin, document control).

• Meet with clients regularly to report project status and clarify specific requirements of each project

• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis Use and continually develop leadership skills

• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

• Any other duties as and when required by immediate supervisor that are reasonably within the capabilities of the incumbent and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer, Construction Management or related field with 6 years experience of which at least 2 years at senior position.

• Proven working experience in project management

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and time management skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePlanning skill
