Moyee Coffee Roasting Plc is the first multinational coffee roasting company based in Ethiopia and a pioneer in FairChain coffee. We export premium roasted coffee to international markets and supply top-tier hotels and leading supermarkets across Ethiopia.
Position Summary:
The Financial Reporting and Analysis Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to provide insights that drive business performance.
Create regular reports on sales performance, production metrics, and inventory.
Conduct comprehensive cost analyses (direct, indirect, fixed, variable) for production and cafe operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with commentary on financial performance.
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to stakeholders.
Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget, actual vs. forecast) and provide root cause explanations.
Analyze cost drivers, margin trends, and revenue streams to support strategic decisions.
Support ad-hoc analysis for senior management and cross-functional teams.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts.
Work closely with department heads to collect and consolidate financial inputs.
Identify risks and opportunities in forecasts and propose mitigation actions.
Identify inefficiencies in reporting processes and recommend automation and improvements.
Provide financial insights and support to non-financial departments.
Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Prepare documents, letters, reports, and presentations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
4–5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or collaboratively.
