Job Description
A deep understanding of insurance operations, products and contracts
Familiarity with IFRS, IAS, Audit Standards, Insurance Regulations and other local laws including Ethiopian commercial law.
Strong analytical skills to identify complex business issues, understand root causes, and develop effective solutions and mitigating actions.
Professional integrity and high moral standard,
A commitment to high standards of practice and an independent, unbiased approach to audits
Proficiency with audit software and data analytics tools to extract insights, identify trends, and provide robust recommendations.
Good level of knowledge about accountancy software (Peachtree, QuickBooks, IBEX,
Qualification: A minimum of BA/MA/MSC/ degree in Accounting/Accounting and Finance/ Professional Accounting/ Auditing from recognized institutions.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in audit service/occupation; specially in core insurance operation, with at least 2-years’ service as financial auditor.
Job Grade: IX
Place of Work: Head Office, Information Technology Department
