Job Description
DKT Ethiopia is a pioneering non-profit social marketing organization that applies business principles to address sexual and reproductive health (SRH) challenges nationwide. Since 1990, we have built trusted brands, expanded access to quality products and services, and worked with the private sector to create sustainable impact.
With a strong nationwide presence through decentralized area offices and distribution centers, we ensure that SRH products are accessible, affordable, and valued by consumers. Our innovative approach combines social impact with commercial sustainability, making DKT Ethiopia a trusted leader in the country’s health sector.
DKT Ethiopia, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), is implementing the “Scaling-up of IUCDs in Ethiopia – 2025/26” initiative. The program aims to improve Ethiopia’s modern contraceptive prevalence rate (mCPR) by expanding access to IUDs through a strong public–private collaboration.
The Technical Advisor will provide direct technical assistance to FMOH for the implementation of the DKT– FMOH MoU. The role ensures the effective coordination, monitoring, and reporting of IUCD scale-up activities, while supporting their integration into Ethiopia’s national reproductive health framework.
Support FMOH in coordinating and implementing the IUCD scale-up program.
Strengthen collaboration between public and private sector providers to expand IUD access.
Integrate IUD scale-up program indicators into FMOH’s M&E systems, and ensure timely reporting.
Provide technical support for provider training, supportive supervision, and quality assurance.
Identify capacity gaps, provide recommendations, and promote institutionalization of IUCD services.
Required Qualifications
