Job Description
Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to gather market intelligence.
Analyze current market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in residential and commercial real estate.
Prepare periodic market insight reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Identify new market opportunities and areas for business expansion.
Collaborate with sales and project development teams to evaluate customer feedback and buying behavior.
Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry trends that could affect real estate demand.
Oversee data collection efforts, including surveys, interviews, and secondary research.
Develop and manage customer satisfaction and post-sale evaluation metrics.
Provide research-based inputs into product pricing, branding, and promotional strategies.
Manage relationships with external research agencies, when applicable.
Train and mentor junior marketing research staff.
Education:
BA/MA in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in market research, preferably in the real estate or property development industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and statistical skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, STATA, Excel, Power BI).
Deep understanding of the Ethiopian real estate market.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Project management and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and strategic thinking.
