Job Description
MSA Group is a fast-growing conglomerate investment group formally established in 1993. At its final investment stage, MSA Group is acquiring state-of-the-art technology, with River Valley Edible Oil Industry becoming one of the largest edible oil processing and fully automated refinery plants in Ethiopia and Africa.
The company is now finalizing licensing, commissioning, and testing, with operations planned to begin in mid-October 2025. As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.
Position: Dry Fractionation SCADA Operator
Duty Station: Bahir Dar Oil Factory
Number of Positions: 1
Salary: Negotiable
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the dry fractionation process using the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.
Respond promptly to alarms and operational issues, troubleshooting problems in real time and coordinating with field technicians or engineering teams to resolve them.
Perform regular system checks, document operational events and any malfunctions, and maintain logs of process parameters and activities.
Execute switching procedures during routine and emergency situations to maintain uninterrupted production and ensure safe plant operations.
Job Requirements
BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or other related fields
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in edible oil operations
Palm oil exposure is preferred
