At its final investment stage, MSA Group is acquiring state-of-the-art technology, with River Valley Edible Oil Industry becoming one of the largest edible oil processing and fully automated refinery plants in Ethiopia and Africa.

The company is now finalizing licensing, commissioning, and testing, with operations planned to begin in mid-October 2025. As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.

• Position: Manufacturing Excellence Officer

• Duty Station: Bahir Dar Oil Factory

• Number of Positions: 2

• Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assessing operational disciplines in areas such as maintenance, production performance, and behaviors to identify opportunities for productivity improvements.

• Designing and implementing breakthrough improvement plans and manufacturing practices consistent with excellence frameworks like TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Lean methodologies.

• Training and coaching employees and leaders on standardized manufacturing practices and continuous improvement tools.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Business, Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluation roles within a manufacturing environment

• Strong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills

• Experience in production performance analysis and operational excellence initiatives is preferred
