At its final investment stage, MSA Group is acquiring state-of-the-art technology, with River Valley Edible Oil Industry becoming one of the largest edible oil processing and fully automated refinery plants in Ethiopia and Africa.

The company is now finalizing licensing, commissioning, and testing, with operations planned to begin in mid-October 2025. As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.

• Position: Water Treatment Operator

• Duty Station: Bahir Dar Oil Factory

• Number of Positions: 2

• Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain water treatment plant machinery and equipment (pumps, filters, chemical feeders).

• Monitor water quality parameters and adjust treatment processes accordingly.

• Conduct laboratory tests for bacteriological, chemical, and physical analysis of water samples.

• Maintain detailed operational, maintenance, and regulatory compliance records.

• Respond effectively to operational emergencies such as equipment breakdowns or water quality issues.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in water treatment operations within a manufacturing setup

• Strong knowledge of water purification systems, treatment chemicals, and quality standards
