At its final investment stage, MSA Group is acquiring state-of-the-art technology, with River Valley Edible Oil Industry becoming one of the largest edible oil processing and fully automated refinery plants in Ethiopia and Africa.

The company is now finalizing licensing, commissioning, and testing, with operations planned to begin in mid-October 2025. As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.

• Position: Shift Utility Operator (Boiler & Generator)

• Duty Station: Bahir Dar Oil Factory

• Number of Positions: 2

• Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Controlling the operation of boilers, generators, and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently during assigned shifts.

• Supervising and directing lower-level operators if applicable.

• Monitoring and recording plant performance metrics accurately in operational logs.

• Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and tests on boilers and associated equipment.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Utility Operator in a manufacturing setup

• Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining boilers and generators is required
