At its final investment stage, MSA Group is acquiring state-of-the-art technology, with River Valley Edible Oil Industry becoming one of the largest edible oil processing and fully automated refinery plants in Ethiopia and Africa.

The company is now finalizing licensing, commissioning, and testing, with operations planned to begin in mid-October 2025. As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.

• Position: Utility Operators Head

• Duty Station: Bahir Dar Oil Factory

• Number of Positions: 1

• Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist crews in repairing and maintaining water, sewer, and utility infrastructure, ensuring all work follows safety protocols.

• Manage daily operations of utility systems, including sampling, testing, monitoring pumps, valves, treatment facilities, and control systems.

• Train and guide junior or less experienced operators to maintain high operational standards.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to utility operations.

• Coordinate emergency responses and equipment repairs to prevent or minimize service disruptions.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Utility Supervisor or Head in a manufacturing setup

• Strong knowledge of utility systems (boilers, chillers, compressors, generators, water treatment, etc.)
