Job Description

MSA Group is a fast-growing conglomerate investment group formally established in 1993. At its final investment stage, MSA Group is acquiring state-of-the-art technology, with River Valley Edible Oil Industry becoming one of the largest edible oil processing and fully automated refinery plants in Ethiopia and Africa.

The company is now finalizing licensing, commissioning, and testing, with operations planned to begin in mid-October 2025. As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.

  • Position: Cluster Seed Oil Seeds Coordinator

  • Duty Station:

    • Awi Zone – Jawie, Alefa Woredas

    • South Gonder Zone – Metema Woreda

    • West Gonder Zone – Quara Woreda

    • Metkel Zone – Pawie Woreda

  • Number of Positions: 4

  • Salary: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key traders and off-takers in assigned areas and propose contracting of capable traders

  • Register contracted growers’ agricultural information in ERP database and update per SOP requirements

  • Coordinate input demand, delivery, and payments to contracted growers and traders

  • Ensure compliance with post-harvest handling standards

  • Weekly monitoring of out-growers, integrators, and contracted traders’ stock levels

  • Collect and analyze oilseed market data within the designated coverage area

  • Deliver training to all contracted partners and stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field (Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in seed oil purchasing or agricultural supply chain

  • Experience in trader identification, contracting, and farmer/out-grower coordination

  • Strong understanding of ERP/database management, traceability, and SOP compliance from sowing to harvesting

  • Ability to monitor stock levels, collect market data, coordinate input delivery, and execute purchase plans

  • Skilled in training and capacity building for contracted partners

  • Knowledge of post-harvest handling procedures including moisture control, grain size selection, bagging, storage, and pest management
