Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Specialist with 1–2 years of experience to support our tendering operations for imported medical devices and medicines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting tender documentation in compliance with public and private procurement requirements, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze tender documents from government and private sector entities.

• Prepare all necessary documentation for tender submissions, including technical and financial proposals.

• Communicate with international suppliers and negotiate tender pricing and terms.

• Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Logistics, Regulatory Affairs, Finance) to collect required documentation.

• Monitor relevant tender platforms and government procurement portals (including EGP) for new opportunities.

• Ensure all submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and tender-specific requirements.

• Track and manage tender deadlines, clarification requests, bid submissions, and post- submission follow-ups.

• Maintain a detailed database of past tenders, submitted bids, and outcomes.

• Follow up on awarded tenders, facilitate contract signing, and support the operational handover process.

• Participate in internal audits and quality control processes related to tendering.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in tender management in the healthcare.

• Familiarity with local procurement systems (E.g EGP).

• Knowledge of regulatory and import documentation for medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.

• High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience working on hospital Health tenders.

• Understanding of import/export procedures, incoterms, and shipping documentation.

• Familiarity with international suppliers, especially those in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
