National Aviation College is an authorized private higher education institute that is engaged in the provision of aviation related college programs. Further, with the authorization of the FDRE Education and Training Authority (ETA), the college provides different undergraduate, post graduate and distance learning Programs in Accounting and Finance, Marketing Management, Hotel Management, Aviation Management, Pharmacy and Comprehensive Nursing. Currently, the College is seeking to fill the different position with competent and energetic individual on permanent condition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and management dashboards.

• Ensure compliance with national accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.

Strategic Planning & Analysis

• Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by the management team.

• Monitor key financial metrics and trends to identify opportunities and risks.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

• Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and financial performance.

• Implement cost control measures and optimize financial efficiency.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Ensure financial risk management strategies are in place and adhered to.

• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance standards for finance staff.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.

• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including 2–3 years in a senior management role.
