CCECC Ethiopian Branch is seeking experienced Chinese Translators to support our operations by facilitating communication between Chinese and English-speaking teams. The successful candidates will provide accurate translations during daily meetings, handle Chinese and English documents, and assist with other translation or language-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide real-time translation during daily meetings and discussions

•  Translate Chinese documents into English and vice versa with high accuracy

•  Assist in preparing bilingual reports, presentations, and correspondence

•  Support the team with language-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

•  Ensure cultural and contextual accuracy in all translations

•  Maintain confidentiality of all company-related information

Job Requirements

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or related field

•  Fluent in both Chinese and English (speaking, reading, and writing)

•  Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience preferred

•  Familiarity with technical or construction-related terminology is an advantage

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•  Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under tight deadlines

•  Team-oriented and able to collaborate with multicultural teams
