Duties and Responsibilities:

Involve the planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring of internal audit operations.

 · Engage in operation auditing activities within the budgeted time and resources thorough mapping the sister companies’ expectation without compromising independence. 

· Perform analysis or conclusions based on assumptions about events that may occur in the future and possible actions in response to potential future events. 

· Establish environmental and health safety procedures including establishing safe work procedures to minimize foreseeable risk in the workplace.

 · Ensure that the operations of the business units are environmentally friendly by which health and recommend risk minimization initiatives.

· Ensure project activities meet professional assurance standards and meet performance targets, including budget and timelines.

 · Ensure the accuracy and veracity of information by undertaking checks on data and resolving queries with management and assigned employees.

 · Determine whether resources are used in compliance with laws and regulations or whether confidential information is protected. 

· Conduct evaluation of Gift’s effectiveness, efficiency, economy and quality of operations under management's control.

 · Ensure the principles of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency are applied and upheld

. · Ensure the overall execution and completion of concurrently assigned large and/or complex operation audit projects in accountable subsidiaries, business units/ functions in a quality and timely manner. 16 

· Document the results of operation audit work in accordance with applicable audit principles and procedures and keep proper filing for working papers and record notes and obtain enough evidence to support audit findings and recommendations. 

· Identify capacity gaps and suggest capacity development programs for the operation audit staff to fill gaps in knowledge and skills identified.

 · Engage in reviewing and adjusting the internal audit plan in response to changes in Gift’s business, risks, operations, programs, systems, and controls.

 · Assess the adequacy of staff resources and expertise in relation to the annual audit Plan recommends enhancements where necessary.

• Mentor the operation audit staff and ensure the internal audit function collectively has the knowledge skills, and other competencies needed to meet the requirements of the internal audit Charter.

Job Requirements

• Bsc/Msc in Civil Engineering.

• 4-5 Years of Working Experience
