Job Title: Store Keeper

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all tents, event materials, and related rental equipment in the warehouse/store. This role ensures proper record-keeping, safe storage, and accurate issuance/return of items to support smooth event operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

• Receive, record, and store tents, chairs, tables, stages, décor, and other rental materials.

• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or computerized).

• Conduct regular inventory counts and report shortages or damages.

2. Issuing & Receiving Materials

• Prepare and issue materials for delivery to events as per requests.

• Check and record all returned items for completeness and condition.

• Report any lost, damaged, or missing items to management.

3. Store Organization & Safety

• Keep the store clean, organized, and accessible.

• Arrange items properly to prevent damage and ensure quick access.

• Ensure safe handling, lifting, and stacking of materials.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain stock cards, delivery notes, and return forms.

• Assist with preparing usage reports for management.

• Support in planning future material requirements.

5. Coordination

• Work closely with event setup teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Assist in loading and unloading materials for delivery trucks.

• Support logistics and communicate with drivers and supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a store keeper, warehouse clerk, or inventory assistant (preferred).

• Basic knowledge of event rental equipment and tent materials.

• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Physical ability to handle lifting and moving of event materials.

• Basic computer skills (Excel or inventory software) is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Work may require evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

• Mostly warehouse-based, with occasional outdoor loading/unloading.
