Job Description
Under the direct control of the Finance and Procurement Manager, the cashier is responsible for receiving payments made to CDA, depositing cash and cheques received to bank account, effecting cash and cheque payments as per the directives thereon.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle cash, credit, debit card, and electronic payments
Scan goods and verify pricing and quantities
Issue receipts, refunds, and customer change
Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient checkout service
Resolve customer complaints or escalate when needed
Job Requirement
Diploma (10+3/ in Accounting ;/Finance or B.A Degree in Accounting/Finance & 2/4 years of relevant experience as a cashier or cash accountant, preferably in local or International NGOs.
Salary and benefits: as per the company’s scale and benefit package
Place of work: Addis Ababa/ Head Office
