Job Purpose: - To support the productivity of coffee processing machines by inspecting and repairing the processing machinery and parts, focusing on the implementation of preventive maintenance programs in an efficient and timely manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors processing machine operation to detect problems such as defective outputs, breaks or machine malfunctions. 

• Operates the processing machine, start or stop the machine as perscribed by the manufacturer standards. 

• Performs periodic preventive maintenances on the processing machine. 

• Replaces parts and bolts to make sure the machine is working smoothly and effectively.  

• Removes any holding devices or materials from machines. 

• Records quantities of materials processed to determine the service period of the machine. 

• Performs equipment maintenance tasks such as replacing parts, lubricating moving equipment, or cleaning and oiling the machines.

• Stops or resets machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor. 

• Accepts orders form the Processing Supervisor to start the processing plant for production and to shut down machinery when its is unused. 

• Collaborates with Processing Supervisor to shut down the processing plant in the time of emergency.

• Regulates machine flow, speed, or temperature.     

• Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Education

•  Level III/IV in General Mechanics, Industrial Electricity Mechanical Engineering, or related fields 

Experience:  

• 2 years and above experience on coffee processing Machine
