Job Description
Manage the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, profitability, and sustainable financial growth.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and hotel policies.
Monitor cost control measures and recommend strategies to maximize profitability.
Supervise daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
Support department heads with budget planning and expense tracking.
Generate timely financial reports for management and owners.
Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Train and lead the finance team with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years’ proven experience in hotel and hospitality industry finance.
Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting skills.
Experience with hotel management systems (IDS software is advantageous).
Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
Education & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CPA/ACCA is an advantage).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
