We are Addis Ababa Based Electro-Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Company delivering Out-standing Products and Providing custom Solution for provided problems on our specialties. Building imported products and building the economy by Home grown Design and Manufacturing. We are currently working on the industry sector providing custom machinery as client's order. Designing and manufacturing components body parts structural studies and electronic control components assembling and locally sourcing products.

Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, collecting technical requirements, coordinating with the design and finance departments, and ensuring smooth communication between the company and clients. This role does not involve financial tasks such as pricing or payment collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and manage customer inquiries at the office/workshop.

• Collect and document technical requirements, measurements, and specifications.

• Explain company services and capabilities 

• Prepare and forward technical job requests to the Design Department.

• Coordinate with Finance for quotations and proforma invoices.

• Follow up with clients on technical updates, design clarifications, and timelines.

• Ensure production staff are not interrupted by customers.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Female candidate (preferred for this role).

• Degree  in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related technical field.

• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

• Ability to translate client needs into clear technical documentation.

• Experience in sales, customer service, or technical support is an advantage.

Educational Background:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

Technical Knowledge: 

• Understanding of manufacturing processes (metal works, furniture, machining, or related fields).

Communication Skills:

•  Excellent verbal and written communication in Amharic and English.

Customer Handling: 

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally manage clients.

Documentation Skills: 

• Ability to prepare clear technical job requests and reports.

Organizational Skills: 

• Attention to detail, ability to coordinate between multiple departments (Design, Finance, Production).

Experience: 

• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or technical support is preferred but not mandatory.

Computer Skills: 

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), email communication, and basic technical software exposure.
