Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the cost accounting function and oversee daily operations.
Provide strategic leadership for the company’s cost accounting function, ensuring alignment with overall financial and business objectives.
Establish, review, and continuously improve cost control systems, policies, and reporting frameworks.
Oversee preparation and analysis of cost data, profitability reports, and performance metrics to support executive decision-making.
Drive initiatives for cost optimization, operational efficiency, and resource utilization across the organization.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Ensure reliable product costing, inventory management, and margin analysis to support pricing and investment strategies.
Partner with operations, supply chain, and senior management to integrate cost management into business planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal audit requirements.
Build and mentor a strong cost accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support pricing decisions through cost analysis.
Provide guidance on cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and procurement teams to align cost management strategies.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in cost accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
