The Senior Project Management Officer is The position holder will be responsible responsiblfor overseeing and supporting the planning, execution, and governance of strategic and operational projects across the organization. The role ensures compliance with project management standards, coordinates resources, monitors performance, and facilitates effective communication among stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Governance

• Ensure all projects adhere to established governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

• Facilitate strategic planning sessions to align project initiatives with business objectives.

• Develop,and  implement, and maintain  project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Project Support and Oversight

• Provide day-to-day project follow-up and support. Day-to-day project follow-upOversee the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, to ensure timely and effective delivery.

• Monitor project performance metrics, budgets, and schedules, identifying and addressing deviations.

• Coordinate the allocation of resources (personnel, budget, equipment) across various projects.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related fields. 

• Work experience 2+ years in IT support, software development, and project management, with a proven track record of managing projects.

• Prior experience as a project management officer 

• A project management certificate is desirable.
