Job Description

The Office Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients in the Wood and Metal Works Organization. This role involves providing administrative support, managing front desk activities, and ensuring smooth communication within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a basic understanding of the organization's industry.

Location: [Bola sub city woreda 7 jakros near to Robera cafe ]

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, clients, and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.

  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming.

  • Manage scheduling of appointments and meetings for staff.

  • Assist in handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.

  • Coordinate with various departments regarding visitor access and inquiries

  • Support documentation and procurement processes related to wood and metal works projects.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.

  • Experience: 0 -1 years

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.

  • Good knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic understanding of wood and metal works industry terminology is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
