Job Description
A private school in Ethiopia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Director to support the overall management and academic excellence of the school. The Deputy Director will work closely with the School Director and other managment team as well as owners to oversee daily operations, implement school policies, ensure high teaching and learning standards, and create a positive learning environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Assist the Director in managing academic, administrative, and operational functions of the school.
Supervise and support teachers and staff to ensure quality education delivery.
Help develop and enforce school policies, procedures, and discipline systems.
Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure compliance with Ministry of Education standards.
Coordinate extracurricular programs and student development activities.
Promote effective communication among staff, parents, and the school community.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in EPDM (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in school leadership or educational administration.
Strong and effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Ethiopian education policies and private school operations.
Commitment to student achievement and school improvement.
