The Head of Community & Partnerships will lead Opian’s engagement with stakeholders across health, technology, and community initiatives. The role ensures that Opian’s projects (Forecasting, Gorebet, Link Health Care) are grounded in community needs, aligned with government priorities, and supported by strong partnerships with donors, NGOs, and private sector actors.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key government and non-government stakeholders, and other key stakeholders.

• Develop community engagement strategies for Gorebet and other public-facing platforms.

• Coordinate with project teams to align technical outputs with user/community needs.

• Represent Opian at conferences, workshops, and multi-stakeholder platforms.

• Lead grant proposal writing, donor reporting, and stakeholder communications.

• Identify new partnership and funding opportunities to expand Opian’s reach.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, information systems or related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or program management.

• Strong network within health, NGO, and government sectors in Ethiopia.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Experience managing donor-funded projects is an advantage.
