Job Description
Arifpay is the first Payment System Operator (PSO) licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) providing digital payment solutions for Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and Payment Gateway. By promoting the culture of accepting payments with Android-based Smart and Mobile POS devices, merchants are able to grow their business by reducing the number of steps consumers take to complete their transactions.
Arifpay is a Financial Institution, a dedicated Payment System Operator offering innovative solutions with a level of security in line with national standards, laws, and regulations set by the National Bank of Ethiopia.
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance user experience across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers and developers to bring ideas to life through clean, functional, and engaging interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user needs and business goals.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, on-brand digital experiences.
Create and maintain design systems and UI component libraries.
Translate user feedback and analytics into improvements and new features.
Job Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Strong communication and problem-solving
