Arifpay Financial Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and executing
automated test suites to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of Arifpay’s digital financial solutions. As a Mid-Level Automation QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the development lifecycle by working closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs, create robust automation scripts, and deliver high-quality software to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG).
Develop end-to-end, functional, regression, and performance test suites for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Implement reusable test components and frameworks that enhance test efficiency and reliability.

2. Test Strategy and Planning

Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Analysts to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
Define and establish automation strategy and processes as per the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA best practices.
Conduct test case reviews to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with acceptance criteria.

3. Test Execution and Reporting

Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and provide detailed test reports highlighting defects, potential risks, and performance metrics.
Track and report software defects, ensuring timely and accurate logging in project management tools such as Jira.
Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

4. Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to optimize test automation workflows and enhance deployment reliability.
Monitor build pipelines and provide test results and stability reports.

5. Test Environment Management

Ensure that test environments are properly configured, maintained, and reflect real-world use cases.
Identify and resolve environment-related issues that could impact testing.

6. Quality Assurance Practices

Ensure the adoption and adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects.
Advocate for test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and other modern software quality approaches.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the testing process as appropriate.

7. Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, UX, etc.) to clarify requirements and design automation-friendly solutions.
Provide support and guidance to junior QA engineers on automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with project goals.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing with a focus on web, mobile, and API testing.

 Technical Skills: 

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, etc.
Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or equivalent.
Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
