Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Logistics Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing customs clearance processes and ensuring smooth import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities

 • Manage and coordinate customs clearance for imports and exports

 • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tax obligations, and legal requirements

 • Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation

 • Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and stakeholders

 • Track shipments and resolve logistics-related issues on time

 • Support the logistics team to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Job Requirements

Requirements

 • BA degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

 • Minimum 2 years of experience in customs clearance

 • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian customs regulations and import/export procedures

 • Excellent English communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

 • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
