Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded in compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, Standard Costing).

· Monitor and reconcile inventory records between physical counts, ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365), and financial ledgers.

· Review and authorize stock adjustments, write-offs, and transfers in accordance with finance policies.

· Oversee periodic cycle counts and annual stock takes, ensuring variances are properly investigated and resolved.

· Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

·Financial Accounting & Reporting

· Ensure accurate valuation of inventory, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, in line with IFRS.

· Prepare monthly inventory schedules and reconciliations for financial reporting.

· Monitor and post provisions for obsolete/slow-moving stock yearly.

· Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of stock balances

Internal Controls & Compliance

· Ensure strong internal controls are maintained around stock movements and valuations.

· Develop and enforce policies for inventory management in collaboration with Operations, Procurement, and Warehousing.

· Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and explanations

· Strong communication cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams.

Systems & Process Improvement

· Manage and optimize ERP-related inventory modules (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).

· Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related fields.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Inventory management and stock related activities.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
