Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and accuracy of financial records and reports. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, supports budgeting and forecasting activities, and supervises junior accounting staff. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization through detailed financial management and reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare financial reports

  • Handle Monthly ,quarterly and annual closing and reconciliations of bank statements

  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns ensuring Compliance with tax regulations

Job Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or Related field of study

  • Experience: 4 years and above
