Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sewing machines and related components, including needles, presser foot, automatic cutting tools, and knife.

• Adjust machines and materials to ensure compatibility, including selecting appropriate fabric, thread, and needles and verifying settings and double-checking settings before beginning a large run

• Inspect products for machine-related defects and make necessary adjustments to address errors or quality issues. 

• Accurately document maintenance activities and production downtime, ensuring these metrics remain within target ranges. 

• Troubleshoot basic machinery issues and perform service or repairs as required. 

• Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly production and quality targets.

Job Requirements

• Completion of 10th grade or higher. 

• Previous experience as a sewing machine mechanic.

• Proficient understanding of sewing machine mechanics. 

• Innovative, detail-oriented, and thoughtful approach to tasks. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
