Job Description

Established in 2019, Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through support in the areas of Health, Education and Policy Advocacy.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing medical care as well as assisting with the necessary paperwork and documentation related to the beneficiary care and organizational reporting.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to: 

  • Provide assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential beneficiary records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop integrated care plans that address both medical and educational needs.

  • Participate in outreach programs to raise awareness of health care.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.

  • Assist beneficiaries in completing registration forms accurately and ensure that all required documentation is collected and processed efficiently.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executives and immediate supervisor.

Number of Positions

Salary – Gross salary ETB 8,000

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant Degree on Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry and any related field.

  • 0-year experience

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to the mission and values of Deborah Foundation.

  • Priority is given for females
