Job Description

The Program Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects and programs. This role ensures that activities run smoothly, deadlines are met, partners are coordinated, and reports are accurately prepared and submitted.

Duties & Responsibilities:

A. Project Management & Coordination – Focusing on Investment & Development Sector Projects

  • Ensure project work plans are implemented effectively and on schedule, with full compliance to contracts signed between Intrinsic and clients, including development partners.

  • Coordinate project teams, follow up on tasks, and conduct regular team check-ins and performance reviews.

  • Support the implementation of donor-funded and development partner projects, ensuring alignment with partner expectations and reporting requirements.

  • Assist in project intervention activities, assess progress against deliverables, and raise timely concerns when deviations occur.

  • Prepare detailed project follow-up plans and ensure quality data collection, analysis, and storage throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Travel to project sites to oversee activities, provide technical support, and assess on-ground realities.

B. Proposal Writing & Tender Management

  • Monitor tender platforms and announcements daily to identify new funding and business opportunities, including those from development partners and donors.

  • Prepare technical proposals, concept notes, and expressions of interest in response to tenders or client requests.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to gather input and ensure timely submission of proposals and supporting documents.

C. Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in the development of new project concepts and strategic initiatives to expand the firm’s service portfolio.

  • Identify new clients and development partners to generate new business opportunities.

  • Facilitate meetings with relevant stakeholders including government agencies, development partners, and private sector actors.

  • Support client and partner relationship management.

D. Training and Capacity Building

  • Develop training materials, modules, and guidelines relevant to the projects and their target beneficiaries.

  • Facilitate training sessions as required, ensuring practical and results-oriented learning experiences

E. Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and submit weekly and periodic progress reports using standardized templates, including donor-specific formats where applicable.

  • Ensure effective internal communication between the project team and head office to align on deliverables and resolve issues promptly.

  • Support documentation of project lessons learned, case studies, and success stories for reporting and website posting purposes.
    F. Other Duties

  • Take on additional assignments based on the evolving dynamics of the projects and the company’s needs.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications

  • Education: Educational Background in a related field of study

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project coordination, with demonstrated experience in implementing development partner or donor-funded projects.

  • Experience in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) project support is an added advantage.
