Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficient achievement of targets.

• Plan and organize production schedules, including resource allocation.

• Supervise and lead production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.

• Ensure timely repair and servicing of production equipment to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

• Coordinate with procurement, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

• Implement safety, compliance, and ISO standards in operations.

• Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors.

• Monitor production costs and introduce cost-saving measures.

• Prepare and submit regular production and maintenance reports to management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in production and maintenance management in the manufacturing sector.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic.

• Proficiency in MS Office and production/maintenance management software.

• Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.

• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.

• Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance requirements, and ISO standards.
