Established in 2008, Al-Tewba Trading PLC is a diversified company engaged in Manufacturing, Import, and Distribution. In 2018, we launched our bottled water brand, Care Water — a state-of-the-art purified bottled water factory equipped with advanced technology and a highly skilled workforce. The Care Natural Spring Water Factory was established to provide safe, high-quality drinking water to the community and beyond, operating in Oromia Region, Sheger City, Sebeta Sub-City. 

In line with our growth, we are seeking a competent and experienced Engineering Manager to join our factory team.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Engineering Head will lead the factory’s Technical Department, ensuring smooth operations, maintenance, and efficiency of all production systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and oversee all technical and engineering operations of the factory.

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and utilities to minimize downtime.

• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

• Develop technical budgets, spare parts planning, and maintenance schedules.

• Provide technical support to production and quality teams to ensure continuous improvement.

• Train, mentor, and manage technical staff to enhance team performance.

• Collaborate with management on process optimization and efficiency improvement projects.

• Maintain updated documentation of machines, technical manuals, and maintenance records.

• Supervise installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment and technology.

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in same industry and out of these 2 years as Technic Manager.

• Previous experience on linear type machinery is more preferable.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teammates.
