Job Description
The Music Teacher is responsible for creating a dynamic and inclusive music program that develops students’ musical abilities, appreciation, and performance skills. This includes both theoretical and practical instruction across a variety of musical genres and instruments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver comprehensive music lessons that include singing, instrumental practice, rhythm, music theory, and appreciation.
Teach students to play instruments and read music.
Prepare students for performances, concerts, and school events.
Encourage participation in choirs, bands, or ensembles.
Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback.
Maintain and care for musical instruments and classroom equipment.
Integrate technology and modern tools in music instruction.
Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and performances.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification (as required by local regulations).
Proficiency in multiple instruments and vocal instruction.
Experience teaching music at the relevant grade levels.
Strong organizational, performance, and interpersonal skills.
