Position – CCTV Room Personnel

Work Location: Lebu, Tracon Real Estate

Reports to: Security Supervisor / Property Manager

The CCTV Room Personnel are responsible for continuous monitoring of the compound’s surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and property. They will maintain strict vigilance, report suspicious activities, and coordinate with on-ground security staff to prevent and respond to incidents in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live feeds from all CCTV cameras across the property on a rotational basis.

• Detect and immediately report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or security breaches.

• Maintain accurate logs of daily surveillance activities, incidents, and responses.

• Coordinate with on-site security guards to respond quickly to emergencies or unusual activity.

• Ensure that all CCTV equipment is functioning properly; promptly report technical issues.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of all video footage and security-related information.

• Review and retrieve recorded footage when required for investigations or management requests.

• Follow established security protocols, emergency procedures, and communication channels.

• Assist in preparing incident reports for the Security Supervisor/Property Manager.

• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism while on duty.

Work Schedule

• Two personnel working in shifts to ensure 24/7 monitoring coverage.
• Shift rotation (e.g., 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, depending on management setup).

Job Requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security-related training is a plus.

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security, or related field preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert for long periods.

• Basic technical knowledge of CCTV systems and equipment troubleshooting.

• Good communication skills in Amharic and Basic English (preferred).

• High sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Ability to remain calm and act quickly under pressure.

• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
