Are you a detail-oriented and reliable accounting professional passionate about supporting educational institutions? LionHeart Academy is seeking a committed Accountant to join our Finance Department and contribute to the school’s continued excellence in financial transparency and operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, payroll, and bank reconciliations 

• Prepare and submit financial reports as required by leadership and external stakeholders 

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support school decision-making 

• Ensure compliance with all tax, audit, and government regulations 

• Liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and vendors 

• Support the Finance Department in processing tuition payments, invoices, and supplier contracts 

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters 

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA qualification preferred) 

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the education or service sector 

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks) and MS Excel 

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax law and reporting standards 

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management 

• Strong ethics, reliability, and a willingness to be part of a collaborative team
