Job Description
The Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in financial planning and decision-making. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Job Title: Accountant
Department: Finance and Administration
Location: Addis Ababa
Reports To: General Manager
Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Prepare payroll, including statutory deductions and tax filings.
Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and legal financial requirements.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor and control company expenses.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT, withholding, and income tax reports.
Coordinate with external auditors and respond to financial inquiries.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 years and above experience as an accountant.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software e.g., Peachtree.....
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
Good communication skills in English and Amharic.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidential
