Job Description
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role ensures uninterrupted electrical service and supports operational efficiency by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues promptly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, and components to identify the cause of breakdowns and correct problems.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with standards, and safety regulations.
Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Collaborate with other maintenance and facility teams to complete repair and installation tasks.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical repairs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inventory of electrical materials.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum Diploma in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation or maintenance.
