Job Description
The Junior Marketing Officer supports the marketing department in promoting imported paper products, developing customer relationships, and contributing to sales growth. The role focuses on executing marketing strategies, managing client communication, and assisting with market research to increase brand visibility and market share in the import and distribution sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Marketing & Promotion
Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns for imported paper products (e.g., printing, packaging, copier paper).
Prepare and distribute promotional materials, brochures, and digital content.
Support brand visibility through social media, email marketing, and company website updates.
Coordinate participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
B. Market Research & Analysis
Conduct regular market research on paper product trends, prices, and competitor activities.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify sales opportunities and areas for improvement.
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing performance reports.
C. Customer Relationship Management
Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and orders with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain and update the customer database.
Assist in identifying potential clients and developing long-term business relationships.
D. Sales Support
Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Support price quotations, tender preparation, and proposal documentation.
Track and report on lead generation and sales conversions.
E. Administrative Support
Assist in organizing marketing files, documents, and product catalogs.
Support internal communication and documentation for marketing activities.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field.

Language: Good communication skills in English and Amharic (written and spoken).
